Data exchange with local computers outside the network is provided by means of unloading and transferring the data on floppy and compact discs. TestGold introduces improved score system and different types of grades: You can set rules of charging of intermediate points at educational testing both on a level of test and application in whole. For example, you can set following score options for the question of Multiple response type: "Points for the Refusal of Granting the Answer", "Points for Every Right Choice", "Points for Every Refusal of Choosing Wrong Choice", "Points for Every Wrong Choice" (also you can use default values). There are some groups of options for each question type and options common for all question types. 4 types of grades are possible at educational testing: “Percent rating” (grade is a percentage of earned intermediate points to maximum possible one), "Numerical system" (grade is in the range of 1 to N, where N is a maximum; each grade corresponds to some percentage), “German system” (1 is a maximum, N is a minimum), "Alphabetic grade" (American system: grades are letters A, B, C, D, E).TestGold maintains wide range of multimedia formats: Tests can contain multimedia data of different formats: 31 image formats and any playable audio or video.TestGold includes powerful built-in text editor for formatting of questions and choices: You can set font, color of symbols and background, make symbols subscript and superscript, use paragraphs, bullets and numbering, built-in and background images, tables (including embedded), Flash- and OLE-objects (schemes, formulas, etc.) hyperlinks and special symbols and more and more.
